Whether in real life or reel life, work spouses are out there. You've seen them, right? Or maybe you're in such a relationship: Two people who spend most of their working hours together, behaving like a married couple. But despite subtle overtones of intimacy and affection, this relationship at work is strictly nonphysical and nonromantic.
Having a work spouse is not uncommon. Surveys indicate that an increasing number of employees report being involved in platonic office "marriages," and in many cases, the work wife or work husband is already romantically partnered outside the office. Although such relationships may boost productivity and personal motivation, it's essential to maintain a chaste and professional bond. Knowing what works and what doesn't will keep you both on track.
